Change CM HAF 922 front fan color

I ordered 5 green CM SickleFlows for my new build. I asked everyone which color they wanted and my sisters insisted on green. Seeing as my opinion doesn't matter, I was wondering what I would need to do to change the front fan in the HAF 922 (moving to a Cosmos II + water cooling when it comes out). I think all I would need to do is pull the red LEDs and swap them for green LEDs. Is that too simple and idea?

no that is literally what you can do however they are glued in place so you may have to heat them slightly with a soldering iron or heat gun if your brave then take them out and swap the LED over

You just have to make sure you get the correct LEDs

I ran into an issue ordering from NCIX: They only accept pre paid credit cards in-store. I was wondering how to swap the red LEDs in the stock 200mm fan for green ones b/c I'm ordering the 5 green SickleFlows. I think I'll try to talk them out of green fans. Secretly, the 5 fans are for water-cooling. Heat gun/ hair drier + me = me in pain + somehow broken/ melted fan. I'm prone to random injury like Wile E. Coyote (stripped my HAF 922, cut the back of my left hand, lol), but I'll try anyway with my extra black 200mm fan. I'll post pics on Monday/ when they get here. BTW, I did look at the guide, YT vid is gone. Not sure where to get LEDs though. I'll try The Source 1st. I guess I gotta fold on PS3 till my HDD & fans arrive.

Really dumb question Fezz, what color is the front LED fan on the Cosmos 2? I'm hell bent on getting my hands on one( water cooling project w/ a water cooled EVGA GTX 580 I don't have). I'd hope it's red, like most every other CM case. Is it?

sorry guys really dont know at the mo, aint had any more information on the C2 its all abit hush hush plus im in the uk and its all going down abroad so dont get to have direct input but i want either blue or dark red ones

Thats OK Fezz. I'd love to know how many fan location that beast has. I can see about 7. I got 5 for my Cooler Master SickleFlows for CM HAF 922. I plan to order 5 more (watercooling-push pull on a 360 + 240 rads)

Question: how big are the LEDs on the stock fans? (3mm/5mm)

does this monster of a case have mounting space for push pull in the bottom drive cage area? And can you see anything through the mesh? If you can see light, I'd deffo order more LED fans for WCing.
