Hi guys,

On my quest for some new memory, i've come across some Twinmos PC3200 BH5.

After some research it looks like its able to do up to DDR540 @ 1.5-2-2-7

Do ya reakon i should get it?

Ok, i've also found some PC3500 for about £20 more...should i go for that instead?

Is it still BH5?

If the other RAM can do DDR540 @ 1.5-2-2-7 it might actually be alot better than that PC3500.

Yes its still BH5.

But this stuff is Twinmos Speed Premium, and it can still do the same timings and _possibly_ higher DDR on 3.9v

hmm, possibly! it could end up being exactly the same, personally i'd stick with the pc3200 because it's cheaper and will probably get you to the same place. but you never know!

The thing is that DDR @ 3.9v will require active cooling wouldn't it? Sod that, but that's just me I spose!

Well good luck with both of those XMS...I think I'd go for the 3200. :)

Apparently it only runs 'warm' at 3.9v

  Subtle as a brick to the head, as always Austin.

Reading your post and then Austins did make me laugh tho PV :rollingla

But it is a little harsh.

Still - Joe you should perhaps try to type a little better! :D

Go with the Twinmos Speed Prem... That shit r0x0rs teh big one!!111!1

I'd love to see u running that shit to its max potential specially since those DFI boards let u crank like 4v into the ram :D

hmm BH5 would be nice but the temps on the twinmos would be great for ocing and also future proof. at least u know the RAM wouldnt be your bottle neck
