Ok before anyone says anything, I know that Footy Manager is THE football management sim and Champ Man is the pretender since SI went to FM.

With that out of the way, Is Footy Manager 10 times better than Champ Man?

Basically up until some time in September, you can get Championship Manager pre ordered for £0.01 but with a £2.50 transaction fee or something.

They are offering the game for digital download for a "pay what you want" fee as low as 1p

This is only for digital download however, so you wont own the case, paper manual and CD.

Did they skip last years release so they could try and catch up?? If they have had 2 years of dev then it should be improved!

nope they just cant keep up, with fm having a much larger base of people working on it, including the producers of fmlive its bound to be better, with the suppot of there staff, also i do believe fm2009 will be released first? and is always first to update.

This dealio is long over now. It was only valid until the game was released which was a month or so ago. It's fairly cheap in the shops though.. Think I saw it in Game for just over a tenner.

Not £2.51 mind.

Downloaded the Footy Manager 2010 demo last night and have the full game pre ordered.

Just want to catch up on my reading on OC3D before giving it a crack.

Looks like Guti is a great buy as soon as the game starts though at like 2m.

Meh, thought u were on about Fifa Manager b4. That was the better game for me, 2008??. 2009 I think it was, it got a further EA make-over that messed it up. Kinda dreading whatever Fifa Manager 2010 comes out tbh.

Played Fifa Manager.. Dunno that I'd even buy it / borrow it again. I'll either go with full on top management sim Football Manager ooooooooooooor go with the basic but fun one build into Fifa.
