CD Projekt Red showcases The Witcher 3 Next-Gen with Ray Tracing, FSR, DLSS, and more

For the TLDR crowd, The PC is getting the following -

-RTGI
-RTAO
-Improved universal screen-space reflections
-Ultra Plus settings i.e even higher settings available than before for rendering distance, Level of detail etc...
-4K textures with help of modder "HalkHogan" along with improved assets like grass, Foliage, Ground, Mud etc...
-Improved tessellation so small rocks, Pebbles, Cobbles etc... actually have 3 dimensional geometry.
-New clouds, Higher res
-DLSS2
-FSR2

Update on this, Nvidia today published an article HERE showing The Witcher 3's update will infact include 2 more RT features than previously shown.

  • RTX Global Illumination (RTXGI) adds more immersive and realistic outdoor ray-traced lighting

  • Ray-traced ambient occlusion improves shading around objects occluding light

  • Ray-traced shadows improve the fidelity, clarity and visibility of shadows

  • Ray-traced reflections increase the accuracy and quality of reflections on bodies of water and other suitably reflective surfaces
I've been wishing for RT reflections in TW3 for ages :D

DLSS3 will also be included for the 4000 series.
