Can't get TV Out to work on 6800U

Hi guys,

I've had a PCI-E 6800U for quite some time now, its my first NV card, usually i buy ATi.

Since purchasing the card, I haven’t managed to get my TV display to work properly, I have an svideo lead that goes from my gfx card to my TV, but my PC doesn’t seem to detect is properly.

This is what the panel looks like for me:

If i select "TV" it turns my monitor off and I get a very poor quality picture on my TV display, when i click the drop down menu above this, the ONLY option there is "Single Display"

I've tried various sets of drivers and have found no difference, any1 got any bright ideas?

Probably not worth mention due to how old my card was but, when i used a geforce 2 and wished to use it with my TV it would turn the monitor off and only use the TV as the display. I found this odd as ATI will allow monitor and TV simultaneously(sp). I also found, like you mentioned that the image displayed on the TV is very poor quality.
