Can't decide

Hi there, I cannot decide on whether to upgrade my CPU and Motherboard or to get a new GPU. I will be buying a 3D monitor in January and I was wondering if I would benefit from a GPU upgrade or a CPU/Mobo upgrade ?

What's your budget like? Right off the bat I'd suggest a 7950 or 670.

Then get a 7970. I've heard that the newest drivers boosted the performance quite a bit.

I'm not sure. But TBH I prefer single card setups over SLI/Xfire.

EDIT : I could save extra money and I could sell my GTX 570 along with my motherboard and cpu and then buy a new CPU and motherboard ?

Not really, but at the moment the 7970 costs the same as the 670 here in Denmark, so if it's the same in the UK I'd suggest getting the 7970.

Plus the 7970 comes with three free games, Hitman Absolution, Farcry 3 and Sleeping Dogs which you could sell and make some money back

I would most likely keep the games lol well least I know I am buying a new GPU first but I don't know which one Either the 7970 or the 670
