Can't access a specific Website

Hey guys,

Sorry for the bad English, it's not my native language.

I ma currently in Huddersfield, doing a masters, and for about a week I have the strangest problem: I can't access the website www.PCGarage.ro, (an online PC parts store from back home).

The site is up because I tried it from 2 other PCs in campus and it works. Only I get the error 503 Service Unavailable. We connect to the Internet by using Keycom system, by introducing our username and password every time we start the PC.

After asking Google about it I have tried the following:

-introducing the IP: 194.117.236.83

-another Browser (IE, Opera, Chrome, Mozilla), I currently use Mozilla

-reinstalled Mozilla

-I changed the DNS to the Google one, and flushed the DSH cache

-deleted all cookies

-took down Windows Firewall

-turned off Kaspersky

None of the worked

I am sure other people have had issues like this so I am hoping someone will be able to help me.

This has happened to me a few times and it just randomly happens and the sites I can't access are random as well, as in it's never the same sites all the time with mostly 503 errors server not found.

Yesterday I couldn't get on to Ebay or Ebuyer.com, whenever it happens I have tried everything you listed like flushing the DNS cache etc and nothing works for me either. It does go back to normal after an hour or two but there are those random couple of hours every now and then where that exact same thing happens.

Nice to know it's not just me it happens to but it still sucks.

I don't what causes it to be honest, it has never lasted more than a couple of hours for me.

Have you tried using a proxy server like http://anonymouse.org/

that works for me sometimes when I get that problem but not all the time.
