Can only use one dimm slot??

Hi, I'm having the same problem many have. I can only get into windows if using single dimm in the second orange slot. What do you have to do to get past this. Ideally I want to be using two yellow slots.

I was originally in windows using sandra and superpi fine with one stick of memory and the 4000+ under phase - would that of been possible with a cpu affected by cold booting problems?

Bios 510-2 have you tried it out yet??

I am using 510-3 on my rig even though 510-1 is for tccd 510-2 is for bh-5 and 510-3 is for generic ram

I would try it out if my computer turned on but it doesn't.

Stick the fx in it then at least you can fart about with the bios and tune it up

Well you have a bigger problem than just mem controler then its not a sub bug its not the san deigo otherwise the fx would have worked could be mobo probs then or someat you have done???

do you have any other ram to try ??

Tried OCZ 3500 BH5, Muskin 3200 BH5, corsair 2700 value. All no go.

with the fx or onluy with the other chip try em all with the fx and on bios 510-3 if still no go then send the mobo back for rma you are clearing the cmos each bios change arent you?? make sure you do even take out the battery with the power cable disconnected

yeah no go with the fx either. I havent actually flashed the bios myself, someone flashed it for me to the 412-2.

Looks like a RMA on the cards...

flash the bios or cant you even get into the system to do that now either you sure who ever flashe dthe bios didn't fook yer system with a bad flash???

No I can't get into the BIOS. Nothing appears on the screen when I turn on. I don't think it was a bad flash or anything as I was originally in windows ok, albeit with only one stick of ram.

it must have been a bad flash unless you have done someat else to it the system wouldnt black screen for no reason unless you fooked a component sorry I am not bagging you out have you removed the cmos battery and unplugged the power and started again??

Well it was working ok after the BIOS flash. Have tried rmeoving battery but it didn't do anything..
