Advent laptop:

athlon64 3000

512mb ram

9600 mobile gfx

40gb hdd

15.1" screen

cdrw/dvd

winxp home

and because it was bought at the "purple shirt place" it has alot of insurance stuff but not sure if that can be transfered from one owner to another
 
I think the best bet mate would be to check out similar spec lappies on ebay - they tend to shift the most pre-owned. I cant say you'll be looking at that much for it though, depends really what you paid and whether you want a quick sale or not.
 
I got a slightly lower spec laptop from ebay in Dec 04 and paid £380. Time 8375 with XP2600M proc, 512MB RAM, 40G HDD,CDRW/DVDROM and lesser graphics - the market won't be quite as good just after Xmas and not everyone seems capable of selling things in the right section - the ad on there and paypal charges can easily cost U £20 too. Good luck anyway
