Pre-Ordering only gave you access to the PRIVATE Beta on console. This weekend is the OPEN Beta on PC, so you simply open Steam, go to the shop, type "WWII Beta" in the search box and it should appear as a free to play title.
I was confused at first, because I didn't find it on the game's main page in the shop.

The Beta has gone live a little earlier! Played it yesterday after 7pm, so I guess, 7pm was the time of release.
Performance-wise there were some minor issues at first, because the game seems a little buggy, when it comes to applying settings, especially after a restart. Borderless mode is definitely not recommended by me at this time, because it results in a VERY spongy mouse and a 60FPS cap as it seems. Fullscreen gave me perfect control and a constant 100+ FPS on the highest settings (I guess, because there are some new entries I've never heard of before like GTAO for Scree Space Ambient Occlusion or so). I'm not sure whether HBAO+ or the two GTAO settings are better for performance.
I was able to run the Beta and 4K with a Vega 56 at 60FPS with some minor tweaks so it's actually running pretty well. I'm still terrible at online shooters having not played one for literally years but I had a good laugh in the few games I played. Managed to break even in my first TDM and then moved onto War. I'm really glad they don't track deaths in objective modes as it seems to make people actually move on the objective.
