Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer trailer

My body is ready!

And as much as I love pc master race I will probably buy a Xbone S for this as most the people i know only own a Xbone.
 
I'm still debating whether to get this. I played this game to death the first time round; it's a piece of my history along with Morrowind, Primal (PS2), Tony Hawk's Underground, Jak & Daxter, etc.

The problem is I know that I'll be falling into the trap of buying a game I'm overall "meh" about just to get the remastered classic. I'll be feeding the kind of practices that I detest in the gaming industry. But damn I want the remaster of Modern Warfare so bad...
 
is this going to be sold as a standalone then? I had heard that you need to buy the new COD to get this. I want this but do not like the look of the new one.

There's nothing confirming a standalone release, just a guess. On the official FAQ it basically says you must buy the Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition to get COD4:MWRM.

Right now if you want the remaster but refuse to buy Infinite Warfare then you're gambling.

For the time being it's only being sold with the legacy edition of infinity war which includes the remastered mw... bit that's priced around £70 so basically your paying for 2 games as a bundle.

But I don't think it will be sold separately for a long time just because the Devs want to sell the new game and know for sure they will sell more copies bundled with the mw remastered than if they sold separately from the word go.

I'll wait for it to be sold as a standalone then instead of a bundle. Couldn't care less about the other, newer cod tbh
 
As much as I want to look forward to this remaster, I have a feeling the PC release is going to be something like Arkham Knight or Gears of War Remastered which would be an absolute shame, I have a lot of fond memories playing it on my old rig
 
I've never played the original and want this, but I don't want Infinite Warfare as it has no co op from the look of it.

This is the only COD I prestiged in. This and Rainbow six were brilliant online multi players. Not sure How it will play online now tho?
 
I have a hard time for certain FPS shooters these days, specifically and mostly due to Battlefield 3 and 4. Their graphics is just amazing and stunning. Seems like they're way ahead of all the other game developers, such as CoD for example.
 
Its COD4 that actually got me into online gaming... played it at friends and loved it.

Then went onto play MW2 on the 360 and tbh kicked ass aha

Then retired from it all after COD completely flopped.

Will definitely being getting the remastered as it brings back many fond memories and hours destroying noobs.
 
I am going to more than likely buy it but still not sure.

Either way if I do buy it then it won't be from Steam it will be from cdkeys where you can get it for less than £40 and that gives, you both of the games.
 
I used to play CoD4 (PC) to a semi-pro level so getting this is a no-brainer for me. I absolutely adored the '/record' on the console commands and playing it back to record specific parts using cod4player.exe.

Seriously hope they bring back console commands on the remastered version.
 
Oh the days, love COD4, had so much fun with it back in the day *grabs slippers* shame they are bundling it, hopefully they will standalone it and they are bundling only to boost IW sales.
