Another advanced warefare. Despite they avoided saying AW at all or even mentioning it in the reveal, it's basically what it is. They should have kept the older style. It's what made it unique. Now it's just another sledgehammer version.

Yeah for a while but I have never liked Black Ops and its just the same thing yet again, how people get get hyped for a new CoD I don't know, its just a re-skin of the one before. The game hasn't changed since Modern Warfare (1).

Personally I quite liked the original Black Ops, but was quite disappointed with MW2. For some reason I still bought MW3 and BO II but was quite disappointed with both. BO II itself the game wasn't that bad with all the futuristic crap but the people playing it... hell naw.
I must admit that on one side everyone shouts "Ugh CoD is the same thing every year" and then they change stuff and people go "Ugh what is this futuristic crap, we want the old CoDs back" :lol: But they do change the wrong stuff. All FPS games are doing the same now.
I agree to an extent though, where they mean WaW/MW2 with 'old CoDs', I remember playing Call of Duty 2 when I was little, it was brilliant. Or the original Call of Duty with the United Offensive pack. Those were good times. Would've made for brilliant OC3D game nights too
I would really applaud IW/Treyarch if one of them released a remake of Call of Duty 2 for a tenner or two. Don't even need new graphics, just make it run on any system and give us working servers again, community servers, modding and most of all; a community
I personally just want to see a return to WW1/2 with Call of Duty, so many people want it but they never acknowledge it, the only thing I can think of that would put them off is there would be no weapon customisation. Personally I wouldn't care, with todays graphics it would be amazeballs. Call of Duty 2 was so so good at the time!

Yeah a new WW2 shooter would be great. I'd happily play a remake of CoD 2 with newer graphics. No levels, no classes, no perks. Just pick your gun at the start and shoot people in the arse
The only thing I'd like them to add to a CoD2 remake is sprinting cause my god that was frustrating :lol:
I think maybe we should get a CoD2 server set-up and do an OC3D game night?
Yeah wasn't it like, come out of a tunnel and fly the chopper? I'd like to see proper villages and rivers and jungles and shiz. 
No weapon options would be good, we have lee enfield (think that was the name) the springfield for sniping and the Thompson for up-close. Thats all we need, and a grenade!

I think you have like 5 weapons to choose from at the start. Snipers got like 3 grenades while machine guns got 2 I think. And everyone had two smoke grenades. And no running around with 2 primary weapons either, just a backup pistol and that's it.
I think sprinting was introduced in Modern Warfare, but it could've been Call of Duty 3. For the main games that is. You could sprint in United Offensive (original CoD1 Expansion Pack) but then not in the main game of CoD2.
Yeah, it really doesn't look THAT bad for a 10 year old game (we need an anniversary launch!). Although that screenie does look a little polished
I'll have a look at setting up a server to later today!

Just because the requirements are low doesn't mean its a shitty port. On the contrary it could mean they optimized it well and is the reason people with really low hardware can run the game as well.
