CoD BO2 was the last CoD i had, the last CoD i really enjoyed long term was CoD4. Last BF i bought was BF3, never have i regretted spending 60€ more.

Everyone has been saying the opposite and that the exosuite has made the movement much better
I haven't played it yet but the one thing I have always hated about CoD was the movement, especially compared to BF and other games. Even CS has better movement that CoD, in my opinion anyway.
I might pick this up in the sales but I can't see me playing the MP much.

CS movement is based on Quake 1, CoD movement is based on Quake 3, BF movement is based on something terrible.
CoD and CS movement are both pretty good, well, CS movement has been murdered by Valve in CSGO, but it at least used to be pretty good. Neither of them are easy to learn, there are quite a few people who spent far more time with the movement in CS and CoD than with the actual game. In CS that is called surfing or bhopping, in CoD it's called codjumper. I spent far over 1000h in both games just doing movement.
Scripted movement just feels unnatural and bad once you get used to idtech movement.
It's understandable that to someone who doesn't know how movement in CoD works the boosterpack stuff seems like a nice addition.

On a side note, i also spent far over 1000h in BC2. The movement is trash in that game but it doesn't bother me, good movement isn't a necessity for an FPS to be good, but it's a shame when it used to be in the game and gets replaced by something scripted.

All the ranting aside and back to the game,
Graphics wise, it's really nice-looking, I got everything maxed out except supersampling and I average at about 100fps. Lowest I've seen is 70. Still very smooth gameplay. The cutscenes with fullscreen mode are really laggy and full of screen tearing, so I recommend using windowed without borders. Doing that makes them way more smooth but still the audio is out of sync on some of them.
Been gaming now for 3 hours and I'm really enjoying it. After hours of campaign mode I'm not bored in any way, they mix up the missions so well I just want more
Flying the drones are just awesome!
As for the story, I could see the plottwist coming a mile away. But still enjoyable and Kevin Spacey does a great job.
Haven't tried the multiplayer so I can't comment on that.
The movement I can only say positive things about, I have not played any FPS seriously since CS 1.6 so, perhaps I'm not really up to date. The powershifting sideways is a really nice feature IMO.
The weapons are fun, they are all a bit different, some stuff I still don't get, like how to steer the frag grenades. But I guess I'll learn.

I've been playing a few hours now, came third on my first MP game and did so for a number of games so I'm at Rank 11 now. Just playing through the campaign, really good so far. The bit were your jumping between vehicles on the highway was awesome! Graphics are brill and the audio sounds fantastic as well.
