CoD 2 is a great game on both Xbox 360 and PC :)

I don't have Xbox 360, but I played CoD2 on Xbox 360 at a friend's house and I was stunned how nicely it looked and played, especially if you have a nice, big TV. I play games exclusively on PC, but after playing CoD2 on 360, I just might get one myself.

Deffo worth every penny I spent on my 360 :)

It took IW two years to make COD 2. Now u think in less than a year they will make a good game ? I mean look at all the bugs Cod 2 has and how long IW took to realease a patch and then the patch was just a 30 mb PB and 2 new maps!

I mean deffo the game will be even more buggy than cod 2 because they will have had less time to test it out and smoothen it.

Pardon and grammar but it is not my fault if the only time i have to visit OC3D is after i get tired playing at 2 AM.

Who's to say that development of the third installment game hadn't begun before COD2 was released. It happens all the time! I highly doubt that Infinity Ward would release a sub-standard version of such a brilliant game, but it does make you wonder as to whether our expectations will be validated.

In response to other members comments on 'war genre' games...I agree. I think it's high time we saw some new growth in other areas, instead of the 'safe' war based FPS's. Just my 0.02c worth :)

In my experience the longer the game takes to develop the better and more innovative it is. Look at Halo, UT2K7 (it's gonna be awesome), HL2...the list goes on

Agreed totally! That's why I suggested that the game has perhaps been under development for considerably longer than it seems

cod 2 development took 2 years and it is still quite buggy , i read it starte after the launch of cod 1 straight away but i can t say, maybe iw make a miracle and make cod 3 a smooth game
