Cable Combs

Hey guys,

Not sure where to post this one, but I have looked at these and I'm a bit unsure here... I have the C-Series of cables from CableMod, these https://www.inet.se/produkt/6911888/cablemod-corsair-series-axi-hxi-rm-svart-bla

And my question is this, will these cable combs (small) work on these cables, or do I need the large ones?...

Also, should I get one 24 for the 24 pin and then 1 x 6 pin and 1 x 8 pin for the GPU power cables to the 980Ti?...

E22 cable combs won't work with Cablemod cables, even the small combs are still too large. Cablemod sleeving is too thin and won't snap in the combs. I tried it but to no avail

I actually asked OCUK this question a while ago after getting my CableMod kit and they said they won't fit BUT CableMod did say they had cable combs of their own but when these will become available is unknown, in fact I might contact them and try get a ETA

Like extension cables or what?...

They have both, depending on your needs. Either extensions or a normal cable starting from the psu. You can ask for integrated stealth cable combs on both

But if you have the time and can be bothered too, feel free to. I for one would really like to know the ETA

Ahh okay, cool. Might contact them then and see... not sure about getting a new set of cables though, since I already have the CableMod kit.

You can just get the cables you need. I replaced the cables that show with Pexon cables, the others like sata power and molex cables are still connected with my cablemod ones.
I just couldnt stand the messy cables when I found out the cable combs wouldn't fit, no regrets whatsoever though

Okay so I got hold of CableMod and asked when their cable combs will be available and they said the UK should have these in stock 2-3 weeks I'm guessing will be the same time frame roughly for EU

I've also been wanting cable combs for awhile, I guess we will just have to be patient young Chrazey.
