Busted Corsair Dominator Module

Hi all,

So just completed my new build after spending a few months of aquiring all the parts but have been faced with the first problem, one of my memory modules is faulty!

I have 2x 2GB modules of Corsair Dominator XMS2-8500 1066mhz (CM2X2048-8500C5D) and one works fine but the other the system cannot even boot with.

These were bought from an ebay shop which I have tried to contact the seller but he is "On Holiday" at the moment.

What would be the best steps to get this module repaired or replaced?

1) Via the ebay shop?

2) Do Corsair have a guarentee with their memory?

I have had the modules in their box since mid June 2008 so I am hoping I am still covered in some way???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

.

ebayers are required to have a returns policy.

Have a butchers at the returns policy that should be at the bottom of most listings.

If that dont work it time to try and rma it with the parent company.

Just looked at the returns policy as mentioned on the sellers ebay webpage and it says all items must be returned within 7days - not happy about that!!

When you say RMA it to the parent company what do you mean? (Sorry for my ignorance)
