Build for my younger sister and mum...

I am in the process of replacing some of the parts in my current system. They are not even 6 months old yet and are in perfect working order.
I am considering using them as part of a new build for my sister and mum's use at home. I'd like to put together something that is very much a budget rig, but will do everything they need it to with ease and might perhaps have a little longevity to it too.
My mum is mainly a web browser/document writer/YouTube watcher and my sister is an avid fan of the Sims franchise.

With this in mind, I'd like to put together a build that is capable of everyday tasks as well as light gaming with low/moderate settings (my sister doesn't care for graphics; she's more into to game play rather than how it actually looks). Games that I'd like it to be able to handle are The Sims 3, Hitman, Tomb Raider: Underworld, DoTA 2 etc. Again, max graphics are not on the agenda, just smooth and acceptable frame rates.

The case is a Zalman Z11 and the PSU is an OCZ ModXStream 600w (I am using both of these at the moment)

I thinking something along the lines of...

Some kind of i3 or AMD 4XXX CPU
Radeon 7770 or GTX 560 Ti
4GB RAM
500GB HDD

Not sure on the budget, but the less it costs, the better.

Thanks.

You can use an APU and a cheap radeon card for dual graphics (crossfire like) gives a nice performance for extremely low price.

+1 on the APU. They are very budget based and would work nicely for this purpose. Also, check out Newegg. They have some nice deals going on right now and you might be able to snag some extra savings there.
