BSOD on 3D Initialization w/ nVidia FX5200

Ok guys, as you all know I'm rocking the "new" computer. It's a pile, but it gets the job done. I am interested in testing out the FX5200 that it has whacked in to it but for some reason every time I go for a 3D initialization (game or benchmark, doesn't seem to matter) I get a BSOD on the nv4_mini.sys driver. I've used driver cleaner and used three different drivers now, I am getting the same results with each. DXdiag is showing everything as good to go, everything is enabled, all of the readouts look correct. I'm using running 2k3, I'm wondering if the driver support for the old AGP cards isn't official for 2k3?

Any insight in to this would be helpful, thx.

*think* u wanna use nVidia`s driver set around 65.xx or 71.xx. Newest drivers will give u probs in some respect.

Thx rast, I'll give those numbers a shot and see if I get anywhere as soon as this hard drive is done formatting for the 10th time *sigh*

Which benchmark you trying to run Frag? The 5200 won't run 2006 at all and I'm pretty sure it had a problem with 2005

I can't get it to run 2000 even.... Everything is giving me problems.

Good driver suggestions Rast, the 71.'s worked!

Check out how 1337 this comp is, w0000t!
