Hey guys, long time been around the forums, hope all is well
So my CPU block leaked all over my GPU and I removed it as quick as I could, dried it for a week in the airing cupboard and cleaned off any water. Decided to not bother cooling any more with water so I forked out for a D14 which is absolutely amazing.
I tested the GPU last night to see if it works and to my sucky luck it didn't.
and I went ahead and reserved another one at my local store. I thought I'd give it a go and plugged my monitor into the 2nd DVI port on the GPU and it works! Flawlessly! I was wondering if I should keep it as it is or continue to buy a new one.
Also if I DO get a new one, should I try to SLi or would it not work? I had artifacts on the broken one (but the monitor wouldn't be installed on that card) do you think I'd manage to get it working? I know, really, I won't be able to tell until I tried it but I was just fishing for advice.
Sorry for it being so long winded, cheers in advance!
