Broke 34000 in 3dmark03 #3 in Hall Of Fame

A brief reprieve from 'retirement' only because only new tests above 30k would be allowed to be entered into the ORB - scores achieved pre-update cannot be loaded up.

So I caracked off three runs - 1st run 32900ish (mmmm maybe the coach needs a lesson or two??) a few 'tweaks' 2nd run 33397ish (still no where near my 33871 achieved earlier)

Thats was it I called it a night - got up this morning fully refreshed fired up the Millenium Falcon, two more 'tweaks' adjusted clocks on cards and ran one last test just to see if I can get close to my PB (so when it goes up on ORB people can believe my original score in mbot).

To my surprise and delight - there it was 34091 3dmarks, new PB, new EPUK record (and the 1st to break the 34k barrier!!) and #3 in Hall Of Fame.

So I also ran of an 05 score and managed to leapfrog two places (50points increase) back into the top 10 in 05 too.

My rig is like me now - temperamental!! so I had to make do as many new runs as possible while it's in a good mood!!

I have really stopped benchin now.

Not sure wot u meant by that mate- if you meant great scores mav then fantastic.

If you meant I must be rich, you are very much mistaken.

But money can buy performance that much is true, it certainly provides you with a good base to work from.

However, with all the extra effort I have put in and I am talking about days (probably weeks) not hours of effort - the results are beyond what money can buy (unless of course you get phase cooled, volt modded GPU's or a cascade).

I am very proud to be able to stand toe to toe with the guys that are in the hall of fame top 20. When you look at the guys I am sandwiched in between in the top10 and compare their system specs to my own - the results are, IMHO more impressive.

However, that is my fill until the next big thing arrives - for now I remain:

hi mav m8 just done some more clocking on 2003.......

cards still on air hitting 33539 points..........

might try none throttling bios.......... wish i hadnt sold my watercooling setup now....... might just buy a new set.... want to get some good scores......

if i try and clock cards higher they throttle or lock......

Take a look at the rankings - it's clearly me. And with a fatty chiller and some shigsy voltmods on the way scores will be all the better.

im 7th in the world so far and cards still on air..... gpu 540 mem1434 and on stock fan on air no bios mods yet..... scored 33933 points so far.......

starting to turn the screws on this 1..... my score must be the fastest in the worlrd for stock fan on air cards.......

Excellent scores scorchio me old pal- I knew you had more in the tank - did you use clockgen to get the higher CPU clocks?

What other tweaks did u use?

@dazboots - Great scores on air mate, I knew you would do it - posting for mbot is easy copy and paste this into a post in the relevant thread:

Then just add the futuremark linky in and its done - you have to do it yourself as mbot wont accept is if you dont post your own scores.

We are in danger of being thrashed by the guys at XS so post every score you have so far and then when you get your water rig set-up post again with your new OC scores.
