My computer failed to boot because of unstable clock speed but it is not overclocked. the only thing i change is the xmp profil on the ram

And my ocz 256 gb m.2 nvme gave an alert about "unsafe power loss rate"

Do you think its the power supplie that is going byebye?

My rig:
Cpu 5930k
Motherboard Asus x99-A
Ram 32gb HyperX 3000 cl15
Graphic cards are dual asus strix 980
power supplie is an rm750

Hey Icekallt nice to see you here :) have you tried loading default settings and seeing if that works I don't personally know a lot about the X99 platform but im sure there will be guys on here that know and will be able to assist you better

Could be the PSU. Could also be the board.

I would see if you can boot and use something like HWMON to look at your voltages, most notably the 12v.

To achieve 3000mhz, by enabling the XMP mode, the base clock of the CPU will be increased to 125mhz. So XMP will effectively OC your system for you. You would have to do a little bit of playing around with manual settings across the CPU and RAM to try and achieve those speeds. Not all CPU's will be capable of getting there as a stable speed.
