Its proven that heatsinks do nothing for ram, aslong as u have air going over them its fine.

My old BH5 stormed along @ 3.8V with a small fan blowing over the top.

I disagree mate. I gained about 10mhz from putting sinks on and cooling with 2x80mm fans. They wouldn't make sinks if they were proven not to work

Updates on the actual progress of Kool160 will be updated soon by the way. I just got bored while waiting for my Phase and clocked on air lol.

Zub thats not too bad mate. Temps are nasty tho, I'v managed to get mine down to about 43 fully loaded @ 2.9Ghz by using a 120mm fan blowing onto the stock cooler.

i'm using a Thermalrite XP-120 with a crazy YS-Tech 120mm 2800rpm fan running at full speed pushing no less than 105cfm and is very load! i guess those temps are the difference between a Sandiego core and a Clawhammer core.

i would but you know the drill - money

even though i do technically have the money, i just can't justify buying phase unit right now as i've spent way too much recently, like on the g.skill and the fx-55 plus other things, i'll wait a couple of months.
