In all honesty I don't see the point, Always being lvl 60 max, Doing the same content over and over again, Never being able to partake in the newer content.
I honestly can't see the appeal of being stuck at lvl 60.

I imagine a lot of people would like to create new characters a relive the "old days" of WOW. See what everything was like before the cataclysm etc.
Hopefully, there will be a way to transfer characters from "classic" WOW to "modern" WOW. Don't really care about the other way around, as who wants to sit there as a level 60 the whole time.

There are plenty of people who don't like the watered down new WoW, warmane alone has 30k concurrent players, so probably around 150k active players. I'm not the type of guy who can spend an awful lot of time in any MMO, they are quite repetitive after all, but i prefer WOTLK over legion as well when i do play it once in a while.
Who doesn't miss the days when Hogger was actually a challenge, and leveling was more than a 3 hour job, they lost the plot after Cata, I know Cata wasn't upto TBC and WOTLK but I still liked it after that none of it is worth talking about
