Story/Introductory
Skip this if you really don't care about my story and just want to see a semi-decent build that will be updated after Christmas (This post will be a sorta before/after)
Living in Canada for 13 years I got really used to the luxury of stores like memoryexpress (canadian newegg more or less) bestbuy and futureshop. When I moved to Bogota, Colombia my life changed when I realized electronics are crazy expensive; the other day I was looking for a Corsair 900D and saw the cheapest one here was over $550USD. Being upset with this as I really wanted to get a new case, I settled on a Corsair Air 540 which I managed to pick up for only $180USD which wasn't too bad. Currently dealing with the thermaltake chaser Mk-1, the only case I could find at a decent price at the time I built my computer, I am posting these screenshots before I leave for vacations in 2 weeks. Once I return from vacations I will be changing everything to the case with the rads I import with my suitcase back. A bit of background information my name is Lucas and this whole build started on my 15th birthday when I had enough dough for the overpriced computer parts here in Colombia. Before anyone goes and complains that i'm a "spoiled" kid I have worked hard for these parts over a couple years and bartering is your friend for people that don't know prices of items (also when your reasonable parents understand what your passion is). A couple of times I have managed to score some tax-less shipping combining my newegg orders with someone's US embassy shipping, which has saved me tons.
Current build before upgrades:
Very first setup
Now here I only managed to be able to fit this puny RAD into my suitcase as they are too risky to import because of fragile fins. For now it kinda gets the job done but my future upgrades will solve this.
Eyefinity set-up with a 47" I managed to score from the living room for free.

Any ways, leave me a question or chew me out for probably many things I have done wrong
but i'm pretty satisfied with my first build and it's going to be totally revamped! In the end I did a pretty darn good job with the limited parts available and sometimes had to wait over a month for a crucial part to get shipped to me ( a simple cable even).
