BTW dude.. Were you thinking of ramming this lot into that small Lian Li chassis?

I would think about that mate. The bottom card will run hotter given that the fan is covered. I don't know what sort of cooling that case offers but I'm not entirely sure it would be enough for something as masculine as 5870CF.

I'll take a look at your case thread and then have a poke around, but you may need a roomier case. Was there a specific reason you wanted small?

Actually looking at it it's very clever. Twin (what look like) 120mm in the front should be more than enough.

Yeah and there is a gap between the cards in the Maximus 3 Gene too to give them a bit better airflow. The front two fans are pretty close too so they should offer some good cooling. I go to a lot of lans to it would be perfect. A real giant killer!

Ahh I see. Yeah they're fantastic for that. Sometimes I wish I had a tiny little inconspicuos PC I could just hide away somewhere, but it would mean a new mobo and case. Not totally unrealistic by any means, but the board I would need is now really hard to find (Lanparty dark based on the 790FX IIRC).

Yeah in the future I intend to do an ITX build with a monster GPU on it. But in the smaller case possible, maybe even a custom built case.
