AGEIA has secured a deal with BioWare Corp, a leading PC Game developer, to integrate AGEIA’s PhysX™ technology into its next-generation BioWare Eclipse Engine™. The new deal will enable dramatic PhysX hardware-accelerated physics in BioWare’s upcoming title Dragon Age, as well as future PC games. It's great to finally see games houses starting to code for, and demonstrate their support for PhysX hardware. Care to comment? Feel free to do so below...

This is fabulous news. I've been needing a solid reason to buy a PhysX card, and maybe now is the time to finally start looking. Hardware accelerated physics is the next huge step in gaming realism IMHO. More software companies need to start realizing this, and coding for it appropriately. Hell, I might just buy a Physics card today :p

Based on the reviews I've read, the PhysX is at current overrated. While it's good to see more games supporting hardware accelerated physics, I'm waiting to see what nVidia and ATI come up with in the next 6 months or so.

I myself find that the card is overrated and the price to pay currently doesn't exactly warrant much of my attention, however maybe with further support and eventually a cheaper price aswell as a PCI-E variant. With dual core though and eventually multi-core down the road, why would I really want this card?
