Hi there

Firstly my specs :

CPU:Intel Q9550 CPU

Motherboard: Intel DP35DP

Memory: 4GB DDR 800 Corsair.

PSU: Cooler Master 650W

Operating system: Vista Ulit x64

My problem is that I'm experiencing is a low score in 3D mark 2006. With latest updates and hot fixes..

I'm getting 7706 Points. And according to allot of web sites I should get in a range of 11000 up.

Any help would help thanks allot.

Do you have your chipset drivers installed? And how long have you tested after Vista booted?

Card

I boot up the system and wait for the system to Idle the I bench.

All my drivers is installed. I did test the card on other PC aswell same thing. :-(

I score between 12-12,800 with a simillar setup,is any part of your system overclocked?

Nothing overclocked. Just normal. I tested it in PC thats got a 8800GT in that scores 12k+ ..Put my card in does not go past 8k.

is your card running at standard clocks?sounds like the card is throttling itself

Accourding to GPU-Z 0.3.2

GPU Clock speed: 600MHz

Memory: 900MHz

Shader: 1500MHz

How can I check if it is throttling?

Keep GPU-z running during 3dmark and check the temp graph afterwards. I guess throttling starts around 90*C.
