Quite an expensive laptop for onboard graphics?
BF3 is one of the most demanding games for PC these days tbf

It's a great laptop apart from the graphics. The CPU used is a 3GHz quad core, it is extremely fast but the graphics are terrible.
Once I buy the mPower board, my MSI 580 lightning will make BF3 look awesome
The only game I can play on this laptop is SC2 on low settings

I can play most pretty much everything on my laptop - was about the same price as yours

Actually, it says the GPU can't run BF3 because it doesn't support DirectX11 so I think that's the reason

I'm getting the i7 3770k
will probably give this CPU to my brother or something
he could buy a cheap mATX with cheap GPU, ram, case etcc and make a rig for $300

It says "DirectX 11 is not supported by the graphics card"

I think the CPU doesn't work.
My computer used to restard due to a bluescreen every 10 minutes, it just restarts suddenly. I looked at tyhe minidumps and the error codes and it says it is a thermal problem with the CPU but it was watercooled.
I disabled the sensor on the motherboard and the problem was gone, it never restarts, now the motherboard can't recognise any of the drivers, I changed them, etc... but now that motherboard doesnt ever turn on. My friend is technician, he checked all the parts, ram, gpu, psu etc... but looks like the motherboard is the problem.
I'm just sick of it, will get a new rig
