BF3 glare/sun effects problem

Hey guys I bought BF3 last night from that cjkeys place and did the english patch thingy and was playing it last night and all was well. I was playing just multiplayer last night and the game seemed fine.

Now today I went to try the campaign and I quickly noticed the lighting was a bit off. As I was going up a stairwell just before the bit with the sniper in the hotel I came across a big problem. There was a lot of glare in the stairwell to the point I couldnt even see my gun or where I was going in an area that is supposed to be dark.

See this video I recorded.

I am running the game on my rig which consists of an overclocked 3930k and a minor overclocked 680. I recently did a full install of windows again so all drivers and such are up to date.

Is that even normal (some how I doubt it).

Any help would be appreciated guys.

Thanks.

that was the first thing I tried in game because it happened aswell in a garage with two cars and it look really weird. I used the 3 different types and it did nothing really to help. Would changing the ambient oc settings in the nvidia control panel help?

i had the exact same problem, i fixed it by going through all the battlefield graphics settings and just one by one turning all the effects off, i can't remember which setting it was that fixed it but i know that it can be fixed by one of the settings in there.

Maybe post the exact settings you're using at the moment? It could help the OP.

I think it's worth a try. Have you noticed this issue in other games as well, or haven't you checked?

Nope no problems with other games.

Can you post the settings your using so I can which are different to mine and I will try them thanks.

try turning antialiasing deferred off, other than that my settings are all maxed. but im pretty sure that once the anti aliasing deferred is off it fixed my problem

quick update

I changed that setting back to off and everything runs as it should do now. No more stupid glare coming through the walls.

Thanks guys.
