bf2 crashes

hi, i recently oced my gfx and my cpu

i have a 6800 ultra oc and i oced it to 460/1250

i oced my p4 to 3.54 ghz

when i started playing bf2, and i get poped out by an im or if i get out of the game by using ctrl esc or control tab, my game would crash when i try to go back into it...

i think this is caused by my gfx card ocing cuz my other friend has a similar problem.. and when he declocked his gfx, it was fine..

but how could this problem be related to my oced gfx card??? it doesn't make any sense.. i thought it was my ram being unstable at first...

is there any way to fix this? or do i just ahve to hold my switching of tasks while running bf2...

well why dont u try putting your graphics card to stock and then we can see if it is the problem

Well i agree it is odd and error probably caused when you switch back to game and suddenly load kicks into either gfx or your system , it could also be memory problem e.g the files BF2 loaded into memory gets corrupted , game cant read the files and crushes. Like Dav0 suggested take your Gfx speeds down and also do memtest if that doesnt fix it.

BF2 is always odd with things like that. If I alt+tab during any loading stage, when I come back everythings is wierd! Can't explain, just wierd.

You could do the usual. Re-install it, update gfx drivers etc! I'd do that if I were you, along with unclocking the card to test

i did declock my card... and apparantly it is the problem x.X

y is bf2 such a bad program??? i mean they made it such a sys hog and it has soo many problems....
