Best Ocing ram

Which ram is best for OCing and doesn't cost that much money? I need atleast a gig and I'm only 13 so umm my bank is barely existant. Thanks,

perhaps look at geil.

got my pc4000 2x512mb rather cheap and it does 250mhz on my nforce4 based motherboard with tighter timings than spd.

2.5-4-4-9-1T at 250mhz rated 2.5-5-5

was the cheapest dual channel 1gb kit i could find over here roghly 1 year ago.

both are cas4 and ddr2-800

i assumed you live in us as you mentioned $ and above is what i found on a veryvery quick look on newegg.

might find better if you look alittle deeper.

i also saw 2gb kits for 170$ which could be a better way to go if you plan on staying with them for a long time.

Crucial Ballistix 2x512MB hands DOWN! Run mine 271MHz 1:1 all day & night, with 2.86v.

AND, it's under $100.

This whole thread is littered with links to both. Clear up the confusion please. For an intel setup a good ocing ram would be Crucial ballisitix link nicks recommended or some hynix based memory.

Spiritd are you actualy aware of the difference in PC5400 and PC6400?

I can see no logical reason for you wanting PC5400 when 6400 will do exaclty what your asking.

About the PC6400 ram, I don't think I can use it since my motherboards ddr2 standard is ddr2 667
