unfortunatly, due to limited space on my desk i can not got any bigger than the depth of a midi case for example 50cm (my desk depth is 60cm, but i need to have clearence for the cables and power cable, current depth of my case is 50cm, and that is about right for the size of my desk)
although i can go higher or wider than the standard size
i was looking at the akasa eclipse but this is the depth of some full tower cases, which has obviously stopped me from getting it
i do want one that is a quality build, great cooling and has enough room to hide the cables , and has a side window or i can get a side window for it etc..
i have come across this case Lian Li PC-7 SE-B II <<LINK which i would add my own side window to
but i cannot find this case in stock anywhere, i want it to be this version which includes a side panel vent and card cooler fan
can anyone point me in the direction of what they believe to the best midi case and where stocks it, does not matter on the price, just need one that is nice looking, has a side window (or i can pay extra for one), has good cooling, 1x 120mm front and rear and a blow hole at the top, if needed - if the case has good enough cooling without the blow hole at the top then so be it.
i am struggling to find a suitable case
the antec 900 has good cooling but is to cramped to hide any cables etc, without having to completly mod it, which is beyond me.
i have been looking for a week now and this is doing my head in
my current case is just not working well enough my stock e6600 with arctic freezer pro 7 on full speed is running at 50 idle, as soon as i take the side panel off the case it drops by 8deg
so need a new case asap, as the cables are hidden, not in the airflow, the fans are working ok, but the case is such a poor build quality, the fans and cpu cooler cannot do there jobs effeciantly
please help me find a brilliant midi case.
