Dear All,

Please refer to me any gaming monitor whether Gsync or any other panel .. just anything which would be a best gaming monitor. I dont care about colors , graphics or any sort of. My only need is to have a best monitor for gaming. im a competitive player and i play Battelfield Series.

My Rig.

i74770k
780 Overclocked SLI
Budget : Doesnt matter.

Please help.. There are tons of monitors available now and im really confused which would be best.

Thanks

One of the best that is more like a lottery game with the monitor is the ASUS ROG Swift, it's a 27" 1440P 144Hz 1ms monitor, with G-Sync.

Awesome monitor for gaming, especially Battlefield 3, which I've tested and played myself on it.

Probably the Asus MG279Q ROG Dominator (or the Acer Predator XB270HU if you must have gsync). You get your 144hz (which is the best way to play FPS games) and a very nice IPS panel. The only issue is the 4ms response time. Then again if your current monitor is 3-4ms you wouldn't notice it.

As with all adaptive sync technology you get increased input lag. It all depends on how competitive you are. If you run in an FPS config, anything-sync isn't for you.

Fastest would be Benq XL2730z(freesync) and the Rog swift pg278q(gsync) with 1ms response time and 144 hz.
Of the two, I prefer the benq slightly because
1. There seem to be fewer complaints about the quality control of this benq panel
2. Its a bit cheaper than the Rog swift despite being a very similar panel (8 bit native)
3. This monitor has quite a few competitive gamer features like setting a smaller display within the monitor.
however, the Rog swift is gsync (for your nvidea graphics card)

If you are ready to sacrifice a bit of the response time for better colors, you have
Asus Mg279q(freesync) and the acer XB270hu(gsync)
Both these panels are the current kings of gaming panels. Advantages -
1. Both are IPS panels so you get that extra color accuracy
2. will you notice the extra 2 - 3 ms response time?
3. These two panels have some of the lowest input lag observed at 144hz

21:9 - if you like this aspect ratio, there is a panel you can consider - benq XR3501 (will be available in a week or two at the most). Itw 21:9 - 2560*1080 35 inch 144 hz VA panel.
the resoultion is a bit on the lower side, but this one is fast for that panel type and it is the most curved panel available today. I tried this one and its seriously good despite its resolution. However, you probably cant use this screen for much else other than gaming.

First of All thanks to all the people for the information provided.

However , Here in Dubai the only gaming Monitor so far available is Asus Rog Swift PG278Q , so I had no other choice but to get that. I could get from Ebay or amazon but they wouldn't provide warranty outside US.

But anyways im happy with this monitor. And its a BEAST !!

Thanks again

Currently the best gaming monitor from a quality stand point is the Acer Predator XB270HU which is an IPS 144Hz 2560x1440P panel with G-Sync.

BenQ doing good monitors, Check out BenQ XL2420G

There's a new Acer curved 34" ultrawide model, 3440 x 1440 IPS screen, 75hz refresh, and it supports AMD Freesync. And it looks seriously nice.

Personally I'm looking at the Asus MG279Q 2560x1440P 144Hz IPS Freesync panel to replace my 4K Asus panel.

I've had extremely bad luck with Asus in the past including my current monitor but this monitor is basically the AMD version of the ROG Swift but with an IPS display so I have my fingers crossed.
