I'm a film fanatic, love watching movies. Thought it would be cool to get a thread together with everyones top films. That way myself (and others) can be propted to watch awesome films we may have missed out on

I also found "The American" to be a horrid movie. I was expecting an action thriller. What a let down!
 
I've no idea what order id put my faves in but here's a few:

The Green Mile - only film to ever make me teary

The shawshank redemption - pure movie genius

pirates of the caribean - the first one

lord of the rings - watched each one about 20 times

saving private ryan - this film made me addicted to war films

Guess that'd be my top 5, but there are others that could probably go up there i haven't thought of.

I love anything by pixar and dreamworks too
