Best Drive Imaging Software?

Preferably avoiding anything to do with Symantec, Norton, or Ghost

I used a little program called trueimage to switch between my 8 & 40GB drives. I think it was just the trial but was simple and effective to use. I'll see if i can upload the installer now.

im using acronis to make images of my system partition and works good.

boots of a cd and compresses the information, xp32 with system and gfx drivers ended up at 1.4gb.

also possible to just back up new files or restore parts of an image.

Acronis true image gets my vote!!! I use it at home...it allows incremental backups or full backups with very varying degrees of compression depending on your available space.
