i just returned my AS8 mobo...but i'm regretting it now. These DFI 875P-T's seem to be dying all over the place - getting me worried.
Out of interest, with your chipped overclocked, can you get PAT working?
name='PCnerd2357' said:wats PAT?
XMS said:Performance Accelleration Technology. It was only supposed to be for the 875 chipsets, but a lot of mobo manufacturers hacked the 865 chipset to support it.
It does improve speed a lot.
You can tell if its enabled by running CPU-Z and looking in the memory tab for 'Performance Mode'
name='PCnerd2357' said:it says "disabled" but i think i can enable it in bios
XMS said:Yeah, you should be able to. I think there are two ways to do it.
1. Set 'Game Accelerator' to 'Turbo' (might not boot tho)
2. Set Memory Strap (not ratio) to 800/667 or something like that....
name='XMS' said:Did it allow you to boot with the Game accelerator set to turbo?
