I own a AOC 22inch monitor that's 60hrtz few years old now and showing its age things look a bit pixalated.

I'm after a new larger 1080p monitor since the prices are dropping,
Only thing I would like is
IPS
27+ inch
more than one port..dvi for pc maybe hdmi or another dvi for a console
Vesa mount

don't need any fancy features
budget got £200 spare...seen a few but would like to ask you guys

How does a 22" 1080p monitor get pixelated over time? It doesn't change..

If you think thats bad than 27" will be much worse. Biggest you would want is 24". After that at 1080p it naturally looks pixelated, especially up close. You want at least a 1440p at 27"

Maybe he doesn't own a 1080p monitor yet?

NBD is right though, image sharpness should not get worse over time on a monitor and also 24" is the sweetspot for a 1080p screen. For 27" I would recommend 1440p too, but since these are out of your budget I'd settle for a 24" 1080p monitor.

24" 1080p says you, happy with mine says I  Acer K242HL got mine late last year for £113, I've seen them in the jan sales in Argos for £94.
