Beginner's Guide To Watercooling 3?

Just a thought Tom, if there's an easy opportunity to do so, could you do a follow-up vid to the "Beginner's Guide To Watercooling" stuff you did about 6 months ago?

Would be interesting to see, for the peeps who did loops after watching the originals, and for those of us planning on doing so within the near-ish future.

Cheers Tom - the vids you give us are flippin' quality.

As a watercooling noob (well, not even noob yet really), nor do I

Would I need to change the coolant every x months, or just top it up? And are there any other good maintenance tips for a loop, such as draining it and running through clean water? Anything I should do to make sure the pump is at full power every once in a while? Will I need to whack in extra dye/treatments after so long of it running?

Stuff like that really. As I said, no need for Tom to dedicate any time to it, but if he's ever doing a checkup/clean of a loop, would be muchos helpful and appreciated for all the water noobs if he would whack the cam on the tripod and take us through it

I'm planning to replace my w/c fluid every 6-8 months so that my block doesn't get clogged up with the dye

ok, so if you use colored tubing and no dye, your blocks wont get clogged up and you only need to top up the system, and your good till the end of times? (or until you get a new rig or w/c)
