Today Be Quiet announced that it will enter the case market with as as of yet unnamed case in September of this year.
It will cost in the region of $130 and will come with 4 fans and 3 colour options; Orange, Silver and Black.
The case will hold true to its makers name, with side panels and and a front fan grill lined with sound absorbent foam and Be Quiet's... well quiet fans.
The base of the case is also raised from the ground, to provide easy airflow from below (if required) and has it's power supply fitted with a rubberised shim for even more sound isolation.
The case has many of the features which we would expect from a case of this size and cost; Removable Hard drive bays with the option of mounting 2.5" drives behind the motherboard tray, plenty of room behind the motherboard tray for cable management, space for a top mounted dual radiator on the top and options for external water cooling if you are that way inclined.
Also for the first time I can see rubber grommets which are not Black, with the orange case option using orange grommets, a nice addition to the theme.
For a first case Be Quiet seems to be on the right track. With a sleek look and all the expected features it should be a good addition to the market. A side panel window would be a good option to see, especially for any orange themed builds, cuz you have to show off them grommets!
Whether or not this case will with stand more in depth scrutiny remains to be seen, lets hope Be Quiet will let the OC3D review guys have a crack at it.
