I'm in the process of mounting my dark rock advanced onto a MSI Z77 Big Bang. Now I've lined up the back plate as per the instructions but I'm noticing that the backplate is standing slightly proud on one side due to the pipes on the front of the board (there are pins on the back of the board slightly pushing up the backplate on one side).
Now there is foam on the backplate so I'm wondering with a bit of pressure when the fan is fitted will the pins push into the foam as I don't want to damage the board.
Has anyone else had this issue?
