BattlEye has banned over 1 million PUBG players in January alone

you have to be retarded to be banned and buy the game another time.

Depends on the game, I'd say. I've been gamebanned directly by Treyarch (gameban != VAC ban!) in CoD Black Ops 3 for no apparent reason and would've bought the game again, if I hadn't payed such a high price already, simply because it was that good.

As you can't earn anything in PUBG and there is no rank system or unlock, I could see many players buying it again, since everyone always starts at zero. And honestly: If you don't care about the loot boxes and always sell them, like me, then the game pretty much pays itself. You can't get real money out of the system, but you get my point.

Not to be rude to WYP but does anyone really care about this?

Every game that is online is rife with cheaters so bans will constantly be sent out and enforced.

Reporting things like this to me just spreads hype in a negative way "this game is full of cheaters so dont bother playing it"

It can be seen in both ways, some people are happy to see that something is being done to fix the issue while others will see this as a reason to ignore the game. It is ultimately the gamer's choice whether or not they spend their hard earned cash on PUBG.

With PUBG being as popular as it is there are a lot of people who want to know what is going on one way or the other. ATM a lot of concerned players want to know what is being done about cheaters within the game, with BattlEye's data showing that a lot is being done to address the issue.

Bans are common in other online games, but having bans on such a huge scale is new. PUBG isn't going to crumble because of our article and there is no reason to believe that BattEye's data is incorrect here.

Thank you for the feedback fella, it is greatly appreciated and you have given me a lot to ponder over.

No no, I didnt mean you are publishing negative press per se. I'm just wondering if this would be classed as worthy of a news article. I'd rather see one that says "PUBG fixes glitches and bugs or optimises engine". Companies banning accounts is just everyday duties to me, regardless of how many there are.

Now had they banned XXXX of genuine users who dont cheat, well that is a different story e.g. Destiny 2 bans for using external 3rd party software.
