They say it's for tweaking but it's really because of the super low sales in pre orders and the fact that everyone is more excited for Call of Duty and Red Dead. Both games which surrounded the release date of Battlefield V. Nobody would buy 3 games. Since Dice said if you don't like our game don't buy it. Well everybody laughed and said thanks for making the choice easy. So they at least solved one part of the problem by moving the release date.
I think that everyone has gotten a bit tired of all of the WW games by now. I mean, Battlefield 1 had a similar one to this V. Even Battlefield 3 and 4 sold more, so I think that people are more interested in more modern like game types, rather than the more "traditional" WW types.
Based off COD I disagree since many people seem to be hyped for it(WW setting).Just think the combination of so many great games and then Dice saying don't like it don't buy it just made the choice easier for more people to buy other games

I hope the game is cancelled. It's really just a "rebrand" of BF1 - which I really disliked. Don't get me wrong, I am - was - a big BF series fan! Played more than 600 hours on BF3 & 4 online. I really didn't like the move from the gaming companies going back to WW I and WW II. I've played MOHAA and MOHPA which I believe have covered a great extend of both WWs. Excellent graphics for then, terrible for today but still I don't believe game studios should put time in re-creating that era. Move on DICE...
To conclude, I'm not spending money on either of the games - BF nor CoD.
I agree, WW1+2 have been done too much now, Personally I'd love to see the American revolution but done right.

Oh God. I can only imagine the 3 second musket reloading. People will complain it's not historical at all, then a new trailer comes out with a women general leading a cavalry charge.. people will complain it's not historical. They will once again say if you don't like it don't buy it.
People won't buy it then EA will blame the devs and proceed to lay off devs because of EAs ignorance.
EA saying we will listen to player feedback is like a serial abuser telling the abused that he is going to change
Keep it away from EA and DICE as they'll want quad gendered soyboys in it.
Give it to the devs who did Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
The real "problem" is, that the WWs have not much new to offer. I started CoD with CoD4 for that exact reason. I bought BF1 simply because I wanted to give BF a try after playing the betas of BF3 and Hardline. It just feels old in some way... The weapons are mostly the same in every WW game and they all also feel "old". With boring designs, high recoil and looooong reloads :/I meant more of a WW ”Battlefield style”, rather than COD style... Ie, people like COD’s way of doing it, a Battlefield WW has just gotten boring.
Meh. No campaign, no buy from me. First COD I'd bought since Modern Warfare 2 was Infinite Warfare because the campaign was actually interesting. I couldn't give a monkeys about multiplayer these days. The real "problem" is, that the WWs have not much new to offer. I started CoD with CoD4 for that exact reason. Therefore I'm VERY excited for BO4 and the PC beta was REALLY well done. If you watched the special PC Trailer for BO4, you can't be anything else than hyped.
That one came out when I was in a "can't even be bothered to look at CoD" phase. I might see how much it is these days; if it's cheap enough I'll probably grab it. You're usually on the money with these things.COD Ghosts IMO is the best SP COD. It's awesome I loved it.

I've heard Black Ops 2 is meant to have a decent campaign too...
[EDIT] Ghosts was £4.99. For that price it's worth a shot.
