Battlefield Multiplayer?

Hello. How do I start an online game in BF3? When i click play it opens up my web browser but the game doesn't launch. I have no idea what's going on. I also have this origin thing which looks kinda like Steam, do i need that or can i just uninstall it?

I just wanna play online, can anyone help me out? lol

Hello, You need origin. You use the web browser to go in to online games and browse what servers you want to play

I figured how to get into a game now

How do i play with the guys on the forum? I applied for a "spot" or whatever a while ago now. This PC multiplayer thing is all new to me

Probably best putting an application in to the gaming section, then join one of the platoons.

You'll recognise a lot of the names scrolling through the platoon's fans/members so maybe add a few people on there that you know.

The best bet if you want to play with other members is to go onto the Teamspeak and see if there are any people on there playing, but you'll need to add them as friends on Origin to join them in-game.

Thanks to all that tried to help me on teamspeak!
Looks like i need to buy a new mic.

Now i'm in the platoon will it auto put me with OC3D people if thy're online?

No, not automatically, but if you go to the members list in the platoon you can see who's online and ingame and add them to your battlelog friends, and/or just join the server they're on
