Battlefield Hardline Beta thoughts

Wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on the beta so far guys?

Anyone who's not in yet it's free through Origin.

I personally am not really sure what I think yet. It plays ok but to me it doesn't feel like a true battlefield game.

I played the closed Beta a couple months back. The idea of the game is nice, but the reality is that you're going to end up with a massive team of strangers who don't co-operate and the big teams make communication pointless to even try.

Not a game that I am interested in tbh.

I played for a few hours last night and it was a lot better than I though it was going to be.

Hotwire mode is fun and something different than the usual game modes in BF. Didn't like the Heist game mode and Conquest is the same old Conquest, which is also my favorite BF game mode. The Dust Bowl map is really good for conquest, the C flag where you fight in and around the villa is one of the best capture points I have seen in a BF game, it is like that video for Rainbow Six Siege

The game feels very arcadey though and does not feel like a true BF game. It does feel like a mod and it definitely doesn't feel like it should be a full priced game either.
Saying that though it is fun, I have had more fun playing the beta last night than I have had playing BF4 since like forever It reminds me more of BF3, it has that fun feel to it that I just don't get with BF4 but did with BF3.
Viceral seem to be doing a much better job than DICE of listening to the community and making the game balanced and bug free which is nice to see.

I'm still not going to be buying it, but it is a lot better than I thought it was going to be and I might pick it up further down the line.

Yeah i've thought about it a bit more today and as you guys say, it's certainly not terrible but just doesn't feel like a true battlefield game.

I'm gonna have another play tonight I think as I was having a decent time last night but whether i'll buy it or not is up in the air. 100% not pre ordering though.
