Hello oc3d, i recently purchased BFBC2 (Battlefield Bad Company 2) from game for PC, i knew it is direct X 11, i mainly bought it to test it out on my rig, which i recently installed the ATI HD Radeon 5770, i have 4 gb ddr3 ram, amd athlon II x4, basically, typical gaming rig, i have various games for my pc, suh as left 4 dead 2, crysis, half life 2 cod 4. BUT, my main problem with this game is that i can play for about 10 minutes, and then i get this white screen, it is really annoting, i was told to disable my anti virus, so i did and it has got better, but still white screen aftr a bit. it is normally at parts with high fps,i need help! lol

yada, there s a lot of people with this issue or similar issues, even though, my friend has bought this, he has got the same gfx crd and mobo, i have a slightly beta cpu, nd his runs fine, wth man lol

i really do not think it has anything to do with my GPU, i checked for updates a few days ago, so yeah i do think it is a corrupt game cuz i installed everything normally

re-install the game a fewtimes,also re-install directX if this does not work then get a diffrent copy of the game

10% chance they will exchange it. If it works on the PC's they have at the store you won't get a exchange.

Have you tried contacting EA? Or maybe download a torrent version and using your cd-key?

GAME wont exchange pc games at all thats why they ask you before you buy it 'have you checked it will work on your computer',they dont exchange due to copyrite as we all no its easy as pie to rip games,get onto EA as suggested and see what they say.

yeah, they dont trade em in, but if it has a fault ...

im sure downloadin a torrent version would'nt make much of a difference, my ODD is fine

kinda ironic, i was actualy downloading a reloaded version, but i thoguh i wanted to contribute to EA, + so i bought it, i think that'l be the last tim i "buy" from EA

Have you tried lowering the DirectX setting from 11 to 10/9?

I heard a few people on the EA forums did this and they recovered from the problem.

Chances are pretty slim though.

yeah, atm, its set at "Auto" (11), i changed it to both 10 + 9 and it still dont work
