Battlefield 4 CTD EVERY time :(

Hi guys,

EVERY single time I play BF4 on PC it crashes. I will be playing for 5-15 minutes (although it sometimes takes up to an hour it ALWAYS happens), after which my game crashes to desktop, freezes and locks the mouse. I can do nothing with my PC until I manually end the BF4.exe process. I have tried everything to be able to play the game, including a full windows reinstall and game reinstall - no joy. I've had the game for over a year now and haven't been able to play it for over an hour. It's getting me really annoyed as EA Help are absolutely useless - every single time they advise a reinstall!!
If any of you guys could help me I'd massively appreciate it, here is a link to the error message I get:

PS: Yes I have tried new/old drivers - nothing stops it :(

Sounds like the graphics driver is crashing. This is usually down to 3 reasons.

1. Application/game is causing it. Has it only been playing up since an update?
2. The drivers need to be completely cleaned using DDU and reinstalled (or a new driver is causing which you've already excluded).
3. The card is fooked.

It's always done it (but only on BF4).
I play Crysis3, FarCry4 etc regularly and nothing happens there so I'm sure it's not the card - it's been going strong since I got it on release and it overclocks really well, What's this DDU? Never heard of that but I'll happily give it a try :)

This happened to me the other day playing bf4 on PC I just uninstalled drivers and installed again and not happened again, check your drivers are upto date.

It's happened every time I've tried to play it for over a year bud, I've tried ever set of drivers out :( I'm just trying the method above ^ will report back

Nope :banghead:

Completely removed all trace of NVIDIA from my pc then reinstalled and still crashes :(

I'd be concerned about your GPU. Try running a DX11 benchmark and see if it works fine. Something like Unigine Valley.

Looks to me like a bad memory overclock, I had the same issue previously. Try dropping your memory clock down by like 20mhz

I underclocked the memory slightly and the boost clock... seems to be running okay for now, I'll definitely let you know if it's worked when i've tested :)
