Get an optial mouse mate. You won't believe the difference. My Razor DiamondBack is the kiddy! :worship:

i have an optical on my sempy, but it was a £2.50 purchase from a carboot and its worse than my ol' ball mouse! and i cant aford one neway!

my logitech optical wired is still good but i had to give it to the other pc because it had a keymouse optical mouse which went bust now i am using an old ball mouse on this but in summer i am planning to get an mx1000 is that good?

there is hardly a noticable difference between lazer and optical. most of the time it is just numbers on paper but if you can genuinely tell the difference then go lazer. personally for the price i would rther just get a 1600dpi optical.

All of the reviews I have read have said that the Razor DiamonBack is an excellent mouse. It has had best choice from loads of gaming websites/magazines and it is generally considered one of the best gaming mice money can buy. It also happens to be £20 cheaper than the newest logitech model.

It does not skip and I know that cause I use it on my PC. The mouse has made a massive improvement in my gaming (yes it was pretty poor before!!). So I would always recommend getting one to anyone who needs a new mouse :)
