Nice but do I want an ATI card to go PCI-E with......um......NO! hehe

No its a good cards and pretty cheap right there!! :D

u might want to rethink that , ATI Pci-express cards are a LOT more tolerable to out of sync FSB than Nvidia . The maximum async frequency that nvidia cards can take is 110 mhz while ATI can go upto 125 mhz and up easily without any ill effects.

This comes in handy when your overclock an intel 775 chipset mobo. There are no working locks , so the hardware like sata and PCIX Nic will fail after a certain fsb.

If your thinking SLI then NForce4 motherboards are the way to go, they actually show a nice performance boost with SLI compared to the Intel Nforce4 chipset.

I might be picking up an Abit AA8XE and an Intel 640 later on this month just to play with them. Couple them with either PDP or OCZ EB DDR2 and water cooling .

Aim = Hit 4.5 ghz :D :yumyum: :yumyum: :yumyum:

But i am still reading up on stuff. I want more bandwidth so I want a proc which gives me a lower multi :D . I need about 280 mhz fsb to hit those clocks to I hope the custom made weapon dual 120 mm heater core + shroud are upto the job and some x850xt water cooling action might come down the road as well ;) .
