I installed all the mobo drivers and have XP with SP2... Why are my usb ports not recognised as 2.0? Whenever I connect a usb device I get the message 'this device will perform faster in a 2.0 port' 'to see a list of ports click here' then it says there are no 2.0 ports...

I've never heard of that... XP has all of the USB 2.0 drivers slipstreamed and shouldnt require any special software. I'm running x64 and never had a problem?

I would go and check the abit forums for you, but I'm banned for a week because I started yelling at nubs

try deleting the USB controller entries in Device Manager & let them be redetected.

And just to verify, u have installed the most current Intel chipset drivers correct? Or even the ones off of the abit CD would be good enough if they arent the newest.

Hey - I just stuck in the abit cd, went to device manager and re-installed the drivers. All is well again.
