$180 is affordable? That's the price of a cheaper 16GB DDR4 kit in the US. And Memory is not cheap.

Not much more than the Elgato equivalent and the specs say it offers higher bitrates and 4K pass-through.

TBH, capture cards are not cheap in general. This is why software solutions like ReLive and the Geforce Experience are probably the best option for most users.

Here's hoping their driver support lasts longer than a year, I've had a few Avermedia products over the years namely AV/TV cards and the support has been dire.

I have been looking at some capture cards mainly Elgato and Magewell but they are so expensive for a 4K card.

If these get decent reviews then I think I may have found the one to go for, then it's just a case of getting a 2nd mic etc for the capture pc and I will be good to go.
